Pattern identification window |
Each single carton has a pattern identification number. This allows the type of texture contained in the carton to be identified
immediately. |
The opening serves as a practical handle. |

Serial number / packing date |
Fabric rolls of all styles are marked with a serial number. In the case of product modifications (e. g. modification of the chemical finish) the
serial number is changed.
To avoid uneven results after the application has been completed, attention should be paid that fabric lengths with different serial numbers must not be applied on
the same job, above all not edge to edge. |
Each roll shows a packing date. The date should be read from the right to the left side. In case of any complaint, please indicate packing date as
vital production information can be concluded from it. |
| |
Within the roll there is a colored label with a code number. Based on this number all production stages can be traced. In case of complaint, this
number should be specified as it may supply important hints for analysis of faults. |

Slight differences of texture between the two sides of the material as well as in the running directions of the fabric may be found that are
caused by the manufacturing process. The side with the less distinct texture is the reverse. It also has a color marking. The color marking is found approx. 10 cm from the edge of the
material.
When marks are at a distance of approx. 100 cm on the side to be glued to the wall, the following faults during application are excluded: |
No differences of texture after painting |
The reverse side will not be mistaken for a front side |
No hanging of a fabric length upside down (turned through 180° degrees). |
| |
| |
Information sheet on identification of sides |
An information sheet is attached to each roll. It gives a clear explanation as to which side the fabric is to be painted. |

Marking of faults / flaws |
Vitrulan® decorative glass déco fabrics are subject to strict quality control. Small weaving flaws, however, can not be completely
excluded as they are caused by the manufacturing process. These flaws are clearly marked at the edge of the material.
An appropriate length of material is added to compensate the weaving flaws. |

The single roll carton as unrolling aid |
In addition to an ideal protection of the roll against damage and dirt, the packaging of single rolls may also be used as an aid for unrolling the
material. After opening one side of the carton and removing the protective film, the glass déco fabric can be unrolled (well protected against dirt) and put directly into the bed of
paste. |
